Pigeon peas(toor/arhar)- 1/2 cup

Split Mung beans(moong dal)- 1/3 cup

Split brown lentils( masoor dal-)1/4 cup

Cumin seeds(jeera)- 1/2 tsp

Garlic (chopped)-2 tbsp

Dry red chilli-3 to 4

Turmeric powder- 3/4 tsp

Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp

Garam masala powder-1/2 tsp

Salt to taste

Asafoetida( Hing)-1/4 tsp

Cooking oil-4 to 5 tbsp *

use 2 tsp of ghee for tadka
