Double ka meetha (Shahi Tukda) is a bread pudding Indian sweet of fried bread slices soaked in hot milk with spices, including saffron and cardamom. In this Shahi Tukda Recipe (also known as Double ka meetha) I have shown step by step process of making this popular Indian dessert from Hyderabad cuisine. Shahi Tukra has its roots in awadhi cuisine and is particularly prepared during the festive month of Ramadan and on Eid. Ingredients:

  • Bread Slices - 2
  • Cardamom Powder - 1/3 tsp
  • Ghee - 100 gm
