For Marinating the Chicken

  • 1 kg chicken
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt as needed
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp chicken masala powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp yogurt

For Hara Masala

  • 1 ½ cups mint leaves
  • ½ cup coriander leaves
  • 5 to 6 green chilies
  • 7 to 8 garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2-inch ginger chopped
  • ½ cup or 50 ml cup water

For Curry

  • 7 to 8 tbsp oil
  • 2 1-inch cinnamon sticks
  • 4 cloves
  • 4 cardamoms
  • 1 star anise
  • 10 cashew nuts
  • 4 dried red chilies
  • 3 onions paste medium-sized
  • Salt as needed
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp chicken masala powder
  • ¼ cup coriander chopped.
